- Desnitsky Nikolai Vasilievich (Десницкий Николай Васильевич) (04/22/1848). M.D. Russia's largest specialist in hydropathy (hydrotherapy), Had a hydropathic clinic in Moscow (in his own house on Novinsky Blvd.) and in Essentuki (his own house on Sadovaya St.).
- Karagachev-Makarov Dmitry Yakovlevich (Карагачев-Макаров Дмитрий Яковлевич) (1827)- a famous Russian priest in Essentuki
- Kolosov Nikolay Nikolaevich (Колосов Николай Николаевич) (02.03.1871) - Member of the WorldWar. Commander of the 1st Division of the 51st Artillery Brigade (from 04.07.1915).
